LLAMAS:
Taffy
lived in Phoenix and had given birth to a baby (cria) that had become ill with Valley Fever. The baby did not survive and when Taffy became pregnant again, her owners did not want her or her cria to become ill. They contacted the Foundation and Taffy came to Whispering Hope Ranch where she gave birth to her second baby, Boots. Taffy also had a son, Tony, who loves to kiss ranch visitors.  The llama family also includes Britta a gorgeous black and white llama who offers hugs to Ranch visitors.

PIGS:
Petunio, a potbellied pig, was abandoned by “her” owners and left in a small pen. Human friends fed and watered her for several weeks but when her pen became uninhabitable the Foundation was contacted about taking her. After coming to the ranch she was named Petunia. We have since discovered that Petunia is a male pig, now called Petunio. He has two companions Wilbur, a pig full of tricks, and senior piglet, Stinkerbell, a female, and newest resident Oreo, a black and white female whose human family could not keep her.

SHEEP:

Black Sheep and Smiley are Barbadian sheep that reside at the ranch. They are quite shy but are becoming more comfortable with people as they learn that we are their friends and caregivers.
